Woven Cycle

Woven Cycle is a sustainable fashion project. Beuys was an artist who represent art forms from contemporary aspects. For the 100th anniversary of Beuys, manipulations were made with basket weave from couture wastes such as taffeta following the crafted logic of Joseph Beuys' perspective on art in the project. The concept of the project includes fashion hacktivism. Iconic fashion products of famous brands are discussed. It's an opposition, breaking the myths of these luxury brands, by making a creative protest against this hierarchy.  Breaking this luxurious aesthetic reflects the understanding and irony of Beuys' art.
